Why was my refund lower than expected?Updated 3 months ago
Here are the most common reasons:
- The €5 return fee has been deducted from your refund
- The conditions for free shipping are no longer met
For example: your original order included two items with a total of €198. If you return one item (€139.90), the remaining order value falls below €120, and shipping costs will be added based on the most affordable delivery method. - If your order included a promotional offer (such as buy 3, pay for 2), please note that the offer no longer applies if the conditions are no longer met. This will be reflected in your refund.
For example: in a buy 3, pay for 2 offer, the cheapest item is free. If you return one of the three items, the offer no longer applies. If you return one of the items you paid for, the value of the previously free item will be deducted from your refund (you’ll keep the free item, but since you now only keep two items, the offer no longer applies). - If your order included a free gift, please remember to return it as well if the conditions for the offer are no longer met after your return. We reserve the right to charge the retail value of the free gift if it is not returned.
For example: we offer a free gift (value €14.90) for orders over €120, and you placed a €200 order. If you return items and the final order value falls below €120, the free gift must also be returned. If we don’t receive the gift with your return, we reserve the right to deduct its value (€14.90) from your refund. - Returned item is not in resellable condition
If a returned item is not in resellable condition (e.g. dirty, used, or covered in pet hair), we unfortunately cannot accept the return. In this case, Kaiko reserves the right to either return the item to the customer without a refund or keep the item and issue a 50% refund of the product price.
