Customs duties and taxesUpdated 3 months ago

Orders delivered within the EU (outside Finland) are generally not subject to customs duties or import taxes, but practices may vary by country.

In most cases, any customs duties, taxes, or handling fees are determined once the shipment arrives in the destination country. The carrier will contact you by text message or email if there are import charges to be paid.

Good to know:

  • Any customs duties, taxes, and handling fees are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Charges are based on the customs regulations of the destination country
  • Kaiko is not able to influence these fees or predict their amount
  • If you choose not to accept the customs charges, please contact the carrier directly

We recommend checking with your local customs authority before placing an order to avoid any surprises.

Unfortunately, Kaiko is not able to cover these charges on behalf of the customer or refund them afterward 💛
